For EVERY search someone does on goodsearch.com, we get a donation. So please use this search engine FIRST for all your searches and make sure you spread the word.
Here is how it works:
Once you go to goodsearch.com, you have to enter in our name or a part of our name (use the string "Friends of South River" or "south river" and select our listing) , click "Verify" and if we show up in the return field, we are active and the search will be credited to us. Make sure you enter us in first BEFORE you do a search in the search box up on top on the page.
Another free way to help the FSRP:
Today, awareness of the effect we are having
on the environment has increased considerably. In
growing numbers, we are beginning to take action to
first stop, then reverse the threat we pose to our
planet by not conserving its natural resources. One way
we can all help is by recycling common household waste.
Empty printer cartridges are among the items that should
be recycled. We recently partnered with a company called
eCycle Group to collect empty ink jet and toner
cartridges used in printers, copiers and fax machines.
Beside the benefits to the environment, collecting empty
cartridges will earn us needed funds, as well as
increase our awareness to the importance of recycling.
Many eCycle Groups collectors have earned thousands of
dollars-with your help, we can as well. Cartridges
should be brought to our next meeting at the Elks on
Main Street. We meet at 7PM , every fourth Wednesday of
the Month. Together with eCycle we can impact today's
environmental challenges while raising substantial
funds, and offering a valuable learning experience to
all who participate.
